Trinity College has partnered with 目标牛津剑桥 and diversity recruitment specialist Rare again to provide Year 10 students of black African and Caribbean heritage support with their applications to Oxford and Cambridge.
Naomi Kellman of Rare Recruitment said:
After the success of last year’s 目标牛津剑桥 Year 10 programme, it’s brilliant to be running it again, this time alongside Trinity College and St Catharine’s College. Last year our students developed their understanding of life at Cambridge and how to make the right A-level and subject choices. We look forward to working with this year’s students as they start to think more about their academic futures.
Topics will include what College life is really like, as well as information on how to prepare an application. Students will also learn about how their choice of A-levels can impact their degree subject choice. The final session will provide a taster of what it is like to be taught by a Cambridge academic.
Students on the programme will take part in four online sessions during April and July 2022.
自2012年推出以来, 目标牛津剑桥 has supported more than 280 students of black African and Caribbean heritage to gain places at Oxford and Cambridge. This academic year over 70 black students have secured offers at the two universities.
Students who are predicted at least three GCSEs at Grade 7 or above are eligible to apply via an 在线申请 form. The deadline is Sunday 20 February 2022.
